A note from WHS Principal
Dear Families,
As we approach the final week of the school year, we want to thank you for your continued support and partnership. This is an important time for our students as they complete assessments, finalize projects, and wrap up their academic goals.
Attendance Matters
Even as the year comes to a close, daily attendance remains essential. Every instructional day counts, and consistent attendance supports student success, helps maintain routines, and ensures students are fully prepared for the next grade level.
Monitor Progress in Aspen
We encourage families to regularly check Aspen to stay informed about grades, assignments, and any missing work. Monitoring your child’s progress now can help address any concerns before the end of the year.
Summer Opportunities
We are excited to share that information about summer activities and learning opportunities will soon be available. Please keep an eye on our school website and Facebook page for announcements and updates.

Physicals and Medical Forms From Nurse Joe
Medications Pick Up from Nurse Joe
Hello Warrior Parents!
I wanted to offer my sincere words of gratitude for allowing me to care for your kids this school year, and offer a friendly reminder about medications, shots, and physicals.  If your child has medications, please come pick them up asap.  I cannot retain any meds over the summer.  Any medications here on the last day of school, I am required to turn in to the WAHC pharmacy for disposal.  
If your child currently needs a vaccine, turns 16 over the summer and thus requires their 2nd meningitis booster, please contact your primary physician to obtain the required vaccines.
Again, thanks for a great school year, and I look forward to next school year!

School Procedures
DoWEA School Dress Code
Students MUST wear:
- Tops with sleeves (sleeveless tops/dresses are permitted for school sponsored formal events such as prom)
- Solid clothing (not transparent or translucent) that fully covers the top and bottom from armpit to mid-thigh
- Shoes (shoes must be safe for the school environment)
- Bedroom slippers shall not be worn, except for school activities approved by the principal
- Open toe shoes with a strap across the heel are allowed
Students CANNOT wear clothing with:
- Language or images promoting violence
- Language or images that depict, promote, or advocate the illegal use or sale of drugs, alcohol or tobacco products; violent conduct; curse words; pornography; that contain threats or expressions which are violent, discriminatory, lewd or obscene; or that advocate or promote any other illegal item or activity or the use of same
- Derogatory speech and/or imagery that targets groups based on race/color, ethnicity/national origin, sex, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or any other characteristic protected by law.
- Headgear that obscures the face (except as a religious observance or health purpose); clothing items with hoods attached can be worn but must not cover the head
* Teachers/courses can require certain attire as part of the curriculum (for example: physical education, culinary) that may include specific dress
* DoWEA issued athletic uniforms and athletic practice attire outside of the DoWEA school dress code is permitted when worn by participants during athletic practices and sports events
