WHS JROTC Honors The Past on 9/11

Students and staff of Wiesbaden High School and Middle School gathered at Wiesbaden Middle School to solemnly commemorate the anniversary of September 11th through a thoughtfully planned ceremony dedicated to honoring the lives lost and the heroes who courageously emerged on that tragic day. This event provided a profound opportunity for reflection and served as a meaningful lesson in both history and patriotism for the entire school community.

The Wiesbaden JROTC meticulously officiated the ceremony with the utmost dignity and respect. Cadet leaders from three companies of the 163 Cadets from JROTC Warrior Battalion proudly presented the colors and delivered a comprehensive historical account of the events of September 11, 2001. Their presentation included detailed explanations of the significance of Patriot Day, emphasizing the enduring impact that day has had on the nation and the collective American spirit. Through their thoughtful narration, the cadets ensured that students gained a deep understanding of the gravity of the tragedy, the heroism displayed, and the importance of remembrance and national unity.
